When you have pizza express you know what you’re getting. I went for an American in the Romana style (larger and flatter). It was very tasty, pepperoni was cooked well and none of it was burnt. Service was polite and efficient albeit there were only two customers in for lunch. Which brings me on to my last issue which is the pricing. It’s too expensive. My pizza was £15 (my colleague paid as it was my birthday) but I feel like if they did a lunch time deal for £6 they would sell a load more. Would go again if in Chertsey due to limited choice but in London you can get pizza as good elsewhere for much cheaper.

Had a great meal, my waiter was so lovely, not sure of his name but he was a bloke. Served table 7 today at 7pm. What a guy. Up the Chels

My Husband and I visited today to chaperone my daughter and her boyfriend (as they're only 11) for their valentines day meal. It was one of the best visits we've ever had at a Pizza Express! Not only was the food exceptional the service really made the whole visit. Our server Daria was absolutely amazing! She was so happy, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and app and she was also great with the children, she deserves a pay rise!!!

Really relaxed and enjoyable dining experience at this branch. Was inviting, well lit and had a great atmosphere. Teen accomplice described it as "bougie". Both had dough balls to start: American hot and Al Forno. Both were delicious, especially the Al Forno if you like cheese. Mains were a Grand chicken Caesar salad and a La Reine pizza. Both were served in a timely manner after the starter plates were cleared away. Both were enjoyable and the portion size was good with no excessive leftovers. Dessert was a Sicilian roulade which was good. Service was excellent, would love to name the young lady who served us but sadly no name badge. Well done, Chertsey branch.

We had a pizza making birthday party for my daughter and It was great! Carlos hosted and did a great job, helping the children make their own pizzas and making it so much fun! Would definitely recommend!

We attended for lunch as a team of NHS staff celebrating a colleague’s retirement. There were 26 of us in our party and what made it stand out were the staff who were nothing short of exceptional. Everything ran so smoothly and a special mention must go to Kim and Geordie, who were brilliant hosts. Kim was so calm and kind (and put me at ease when it came to arranging the bill!) and Geordie was so accommodating and provided attentive and friendly service. I even got chatting to Carlos and Jacky, who were quite simply the best chefs ever! They were smiley, welcoming and fantastic. The food was gorgeous and all came out together. We had no complaints at all and everything was so well organised. Prior to coming, I had reached out to the restaurant and we completed pre-orders. James the manager was so helpful in helping with this. We are so grateful for such a brilliant experience!
